The SATALite 3.5" DB-M12O HDD Enclosure offers a solution for cost-sensitive users wish to use a light and stylish external HDD enclosure for a notebook or home computer. It stands vertically and allows maximum heat dissipation by exposing most of the enclosure surface. The durable and thermally efficient aluminum housing provides even greater heat dissipation, eliminating the need for an internal fan (which may cause excess noise).
The DB-M12O extends connection flexibility with a combination of eSATA, USB2.0, and two FireWire 800 ports; the included bundled 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire cable further enhances flexibility for users without a FireWire 800 port on their host computer.
The easy-to-carry plus simple-to-install compacted Enclosure guarantees to have snappy plug-n-play connection and immediate access for all your valuable data (which would require an external power supply).
The HDD spin down function ensures efficient operation. To reduce power consumption, the hard disk inside the Enclosure will spin down during sleep mode and will automatically spin up when the host system is waken.
