The DataTale 4-Bay SMART RAID System is a worthwhile investment! It provides robust storage management under JBOD, RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), Span, Clone, RAID 5, and RAID 1+0!
The DataTale 4-Bay SMART RAID System features multiple RAID tasks, making complicated operations possible including the HotSpare and Automatic Rebuild features for RAID 1+HotSpare, Clone+HotSpare, and RAID 5+HotSpare! More importantly, this heavy-duty RAID system has the unique capability to support more than 2TB HDDs of storage load!
With a push of a few buttons, the front panel LCD will allow fundamental RAID operation and system status monitor anywhere! It displays general information on any inserted HDDs, the RAID System itself, and basic RAID functions!
The RAID MASTER and GUI (Graphic User Interface) permits professionals and enterprises to centralize and effectively oversee complicated RAID applications. With the RAID MASTER you can configure multiple RAID tasks, set the alerting feature to report any system problems, and customize storage activities for your RAID System.
The SmartGuider* design makes HDD installation, removal and insertion, an absolute breeze, enabling trayless HDD positioning, and effortless HDD hot-swapping when necessary and efficient heat dissipation. It stands upright maximizing airflow and exhausting heat via vents. This combined with the rugged aluminum case and low-dB fans makes the entire unit an efficient channel for heat dissipation.

The high-speed performance in data transfer by USB 2.0 and eSATA, along with the DataTale 4-Bay SMART RAID System tops consumers's expectations. The LED Indicators (power, connection, health, access, rebuild, and RAID Alert) keep users well-informed.
Important Note: It is necessary and highly recommended to use the disk with "RAID" editions in order to avoid the compatibility problem.
